Who we are

ClearMyPI drafts a POPIA section 24 deletion letter. Free is generic or one published company that called. You send it. Subscribers log in for the full list.

We are a responsible party for the file we keep about you. The bearer is a responsible party for what they already hold.

What we take

• The email you prove with a one-time code. That email is the account.
• One South African mobile.
• Your name if you type it. ID is parked until a written power of attorney exists.
• Consent ticks and the time you ticked them.
• Request reference, named company if you ticked one, status, and the date we mailed the draft to you.

After you delete your file we keep a SHA-256 number (your UID) and the billing records the law requires. We do not keep your email, phone, name or ID. The hash cannot be turned back into your email.

What we do with it

• Draft the letter you preview and mail that draft to you. You forward it. We do not mail the company in this beta.
• The free pack is one draft: generic, or one published company.
• Subscribers log in (we send a code) and can ask for one draft mail per company they pick. Mail when we add a company is opt-in.
• We send a code, a records link, and a wipe link from noreply@. Those mails are not a desk.
• info@ answers with those options if you write from the same address. We do not interpret your inbound words.

Lawful basis: your consent, and your instruction to draft the letter for you to send. Login is a one-time code to the email you proved.

How long we keep it

Your file (email, phone, name, ID) is deleted when you ask, or when we no longer need it to finish the letter. After a free letter we delete your email from our file. We keep a one-way number so free is once. We count how many letters we draft and for which company, with no address on that count. We do not sell or share that. Billing records keyed to your UID are kept seven years, then destroyed. The site shows 120 days. That clock does not run until we can follow up for you. It does not lock you out in this beta.

You can delete your file any time. The wipe link is one use. We stay. We cannot destroy the tax record before the law allows.

Who else sees it

A company sees the letter only if you forward it to them. Our mail host sees mail we send you. We do not sell your information.
